Co-Parenting Tools for Groups and Individuals

Carol Delzer has been a family law attorney-mediator for over 22 years. Carol is a certified Family Law Specialist, Marriage Family Therapist and has authored several books: Collaborative Co-parenting; Divorce Done Easier and co-authored Positive Discipline for Single Parents. Carol wrote 8 Weeks to Collaborative Co-parenting which a great tool for teaching co-parenting classes to groups and individuals.

Carol will provide participants with insightful information:
  • How to use the Collaborative co-parenting tools.
  • What family courts want co-parent educators to know and teach parents.
  • Tips and tools on how to be a co-parent educator/ counselor.
  • Marketing ideas for co-parent educators/counselors. 

Carol has a well-developed co-parent program to help parents work together for the best interest of the children involved. There are multiple examples of agreements, co-parent homework assignments, and interventions included in her book with clear examples. As well as wonderful heartfelt stories to create a desire for parents apart or divorced parents to work through their co-parent issues.

Carol will provide a free copy of her book Collaborative Co-parenting to all participants. The book will give you the tools to help clients and will change how you may perceive this difficult topic with current clients.

The course will meet the requirements for 2 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and/or LCSWs. The Sierra Foothills Chapter of CAMFT is an approved CEU provider (PCE #4807) through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Registration for this event closes on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at midnight.

There is a $5 late registration fee for attendees registering at the door, so be sure to register early!

All members are welcomed to join the Board of Directors Meetings. Meetings are held from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at Max’s Holiday Inn on the same day as our training.
