EMDR Therapy: An Overview and Live Demonstration

Kim Johnson, LCSW, will present a practical overview of EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing Therapy): how EMDR Therapy works (including the neurobiological foundation) and how it can be integrated in treatment with different clients with different diagnoses. Participants will learn how effective EMDR Therapy can be by discussing case examples and observing a live demonstration.
Kim Johnson, LCSW, graduated from San Diego State University with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1990. After graduation, she was trained in EMDR Therapy in 2000. Kim is an EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) Certified Therapist and approved Consultant and Trainer for EMDR Therapy Basic Training. Kim has been in private practice for over 30 years and integrates EMDR with most of her clients.
